Personal Training with resiliFIT Coaching
Build strength. Improve stability. Feel confident in your body.
Your body is changing. Your approach to exercise can change with it.
Whether you're navigating perimenopause, menopause or postmenopause, building and maintaining strength is one of the most valuable things you can do for your long-term health, mobility and independence.
At resiliFIT Coaching, I help women 35+ build strength, improve stability and feel more confident in their bodies through practical, progressive strength training. With an understanding of the changes women can experience through midlife, I'll help you find an approach to exercise that works for your goals, abilities and everyday life.
Personal training is available in the comfort of your own home in Kentville, New Minas, Port Williams and Canning.
My approach is inclusive, weight-neutral and focused on what your body can do. You don't need to be a certain size, have a particular fitness level or be able to do every exercise. We'll start where you are, work at your own pace and make adjustments along the way. The focus is on building strength and confidence, not changing your body size.
Find Your Fit
-
$95 per person | One-time fee
Before training begins, we'll take the time to understand your goals, establish a starting point and make sure the training approach is a good fit.
For one-on-one training, the assessment focuses on your personal goals and priorities.
For small-group training, we'll also make sure participants have compatible goals so we can work toward a shared training focus. Each participant will have an opportunity to discuss their own abilities and any considerations that may require exercise modifications.
Your 60–75-minute initial assessment includes:
Goal-setting conversation: We'll discuss your goals, exercise history, current activity level and what you'd like to achieve through training.
Movement and stability assessment: We'll look at areas such as strength, balance, mobility and functional movement to understand your starting point.
Individual considerations: We'll discuss any injuries, limitations, mobility concerns or other factors that may require exercise modifications.
Training approach: For small groups, we'll establish shared goals and identify individual modifications needed so everyone can participate appropriately in the same training program.
This isn't about passing or failing a fitness test. It's about understanding where you're starting, recognizing what you're capable of and creating a thoughtful approach to your training.
A note about small-group training: Participants follow the same overall training plan, designed around shared goals. Exercises can be modified to accommodate individual abilities and limitations, but separate training programs are not developed for each group member.
The initial assessment is required for all new in-home personal training clients and is billed separately from training packages.

Emily’s Certifications
“When I first reached out to Emily I wasn’t ready to commit. I asked about her programs and she gave me lots of information and details on what she offered, but I just didn’t know what I wanted at that time. I felt zero pressure from her and she let me reach back out when I was ready. I informed her of my recent running goal (another marathon) and how that would be my priority and she wrote a program of workouts which complemented and accommodated my run schedule. When I had a setback with running, she immediately pivoted the program to focus on movements which wouldn’t irritate my knee, and still managed to keep each workout fresh while allowing me to build on familiar movements. I would not hesitate to ask for Emily’s help with my next fitness goal. Especially if it’s a goal of finding ways to love the activity you’re doing. Her enthusiasm is appealing!”
