Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is resiliFIT Coaching all about?

resiliFIT Coaching is a fitness space created especially for women 35+, with a focus on strength, confidence, and feeling good in your body — not shrinking it. I offer inclusive, anti-diet culture fitness classes and coaching that meet you where you are, whether you're brand new to fitness or returning after a break.

  • Do I need to be fit to join a class?

Absolutely not. My classes are designed to be welcoming and adaptable for all fitness levels. Whether you’re starting fresh, working with injuries, or just looking for a no-pressure place to move your body, you’re in the right place.

  • I'm in perimenopause/menopause. Will the classes work for me?

100%! Many of my clients are in this stage of life. I design workouts with hormonal shifts, pelvic health, joint changes, and fatigue in mind — so you can feel supported and strong, not burned out.

If you’re prone to hot flashes while doing cardio resliSTRONG and PMS are more suitable.

  • What do I need to bring to class?

Most classes just require a bottle of water and comfy workout clothes. PMS and resiliSTRONG have floor options, so a mat is recommended. In all classes, you are welcome to bring a set of light dumbbells. Occassionally, we will use loops or pool noodles, which I provide. I’ll always let you know ahead of time if anything different is needed.

  • Do you offer one-on-one coaching or personal training?

While I am certified as a personal trainer, I am not currently taking on any new clients. However, if you are looking for personalized training plans, without weekly coaching, you can purchase these on my personal training page.

  • Do you focus on weight loss?

Nope. I focus on how movement makes you feel, not how it makes you look. While weight changes can happen, that’s not the goal here. We celebrate non-scale victories — like lifting heavier, sleeping better, or feeling more confident.

  • What if I have pelvic floor concerns or past injuries?

You’re not alone — and yes, I’ve got you. I’m trained in pelvic floor-informed fitness and always offer modifications and support to keep you moving safely and comfortably.

  • I’ve had bad experiences in other fitness spaces. How are you different?

Ugh… I’m sorry you had a negative experience in the past.

resiliFIT Coaching is weight-neutral, inclusive, and completely judgment-free. There’s no pressure to perform, no yelling, and no diet talk. Just movement that feels good, with a community that gets it.

  • What happens if I need to miss a class?

I get it — life happens. If you're in a session-based class, make-up options may be available depending on the schedule. Send me a message and we’ll sort it out together.

  • What’s your weather cancellation policy?

If schools are cancelled, class is cancelled. If a storm is expected in the evening, I’ll make the call by 3pm and notify you. Cancelled classes will be added to the end of the session.

  • What’s the difference between ResiliBOD and ResiliSTRONG?

ResiliBOD is my signature class that blends cardio, strength, and flexibility in a fun, low-pressure environment. ResiliSTRONG is more focused on traditional and functional strength training — a great choice if you want to feel stronger, more capable, and build muscle over time.

  • What makes PMS unique?

PMS (Postnatal, Menopause-friendly Strength) is designed with core and pelvic floor health in mind. It’s perfect for those returning to fitness after having a baby, navigating menopause, or simply looking for a strength class that prioritizes alignment, breath, and function. It blends total-body strength work with a focus on mobility, stability, and deep core connection.
